Pewter pitcher in the shape of a baluster with a straight and oblique base, a straight heel cup, a raised lid with a flat roof and a thumb rest with oak acorns.
Stamped property mark: P / lis / A.
Height: 17.4 cm.
TOULOUSE, 18th century.
Rare in provenance and size, in perfect condition.
Let us recall in passing that these pitchers were the wine measures of the Ancien Régime.
This elegant shape with the characteristic lid of Toulouse production is clearly of medieval inspiration.
