Born May 8, 1894 in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône)Coming to Montmartre in 1909 where he sympathized with Steinlen and Poulbot, He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and at the Paris Fair of Engraved Lacquers.
Caricaturist, he also appeared at the Salon des Humoristes and collaborated with the satirical newspapers of the time.
He then multiplied, for the daily newspapers of Paris and Marseille, the sketches of hearings of the major trials.
He illustrated various reports, before devoting himself definitively to painting. In 1916, he was the crewmate of the glorious pilot Navarre.
In 1927, he painted an allegorical composition on the tragic flight of Nungesser and Coli, which was acquired by the American Aeroclub.
He also produced landscapes, seascapes, and rather tragic circus scenes.
Described as robust and moving, he was one of the figures of the Péano in Marseille in the 1950s.
The Cantini Museum in Marseille preserves a "composition" of his from 1954.
