. Silversmith's mark: PNS with a hand holding a laurel leaf for Pierre-Nicolas Sommé, received as a master in 1760, with this new mark issued in 1768.
. Jurande mark: date letter P for the year 1788.
. Paris charge mark for the period 1782-1789: a crowned A.
. Discharge mark: a parrot's head.
. Countermark mark: a fly.
A very beautiful spoon in beautiful condition with a fine repierce. Its weight is slightly above average for this cutlery, a sign of quality workmanship.
