Oil on canvas in the style of Jean François de Troy (1679-1752) representing an interior scene in the 18th century, we find the furnishings and decorations of the Louis XV period, with candle lighting, several protagonists are busy preparing the mistress of the house before the ball. Quality oil painting, made on canvas, mounted on panel during a restoration, the examination of the edge of the oval-shaped canvas indicates old nail holes, indicating that the painting was originally medallion-shaped and therefore not recut.
