"Terracotta Sculpture Signed A. Gennarelli 1930"
This terracotta sculpture, titled "Meditation," depicts a woman in profile. It is the work of the sculptor Amadeo Gennarelli, a former student of Francesco Jerace. In 1909, Gennarelli left his native country to settle in Paris, where he quickly made a name for himself with his depictions of female nudes. He presented his first work in 1913 at the Salon de la Société des artistes français, an event he regularly attended until 1936. His work is distinguished by the use of various materials, such as bronze, marble, terracotta, and sometimes wood. Signed by the MYRINA PARIS foundry
