Portrait of Napoleon-Louis Bonaparte known as "Louis of Luxembourg", born in Paris in 1804 and died in Italy in 1831. He is the second son of Louis Bonaparte and his wife Hortense de Beauharnais, both the nephew and grandson by marriage of Emperor Napoleon I, Hortense having been adopted by the latter, as well as the elder brother of Napoleon III. These titles are: French Prince from 1804 to 1815, Dutch Prince from 1806 to 1810, Grand Duke of Berg and Cleves from 1809 to 1815, King of Holland in 1810. Oil on wood panel from the 19th century, fixed on a stretcher (treated), a crack at the top right of the panel. Good condition (small restorations).
