"Paris: Sterling Silver Chocolate Pot, Circa 1900"
Elegant solid silver chocolate pot with its frother and rosewood handle, made around 1900 by the master silversmith Antoine Théodore EYSEN (1851-1923), who had his hallmark engraved in 1895 at 3, rue Guichard. In the Passy district of Paris. Featuring a relief fluted decoration on its lower part, at the end of the lid and at the base of its handle, the chocolate pot features an engraved plant decoration on the upper part, with a garland in lambrequin with a floral motif on an matte background.
