"Movable Seat In Walnut And Rosewood Veneer And Maple Fillets, 1st Half Of The 18th Century"
Beautiful drop-leaf cabinet probably from Romagna from the first half of the 18th century, curved at the front and flared on the sides, while the veneer is in walnut and rosewood with maple fillets that divide the different types of roots. The linings on the back and on the drawers are all contemporary and are in fir wood, an indication that places it in the Apennine area between Marche and Romagna.
This is a fairly rare piece of furniture and in excellent condition, as it is original in every part. If requested, we will have our trusted restorer organize the polishing and cleaning work. The cabinet is offered at a bargain price.
Its measurements are 133cm maximum width x 58cm x 107cm height.
We enclose a historical certificate of authenticity with the sale.
