"19th Century Malay Kris "
Indonesian or Malay Kriss from the 19th century. The handle is made of ivory and represents Averta or Garuda, the bird man, who according to Hindu mythology, carries Vishnu. The scabbard is made of exotic wood and the tip represents an orchid. The blade is sinuous in meteorite iron. Total length 44 cm Blade length 36 cm
