"Christ In Bonds – 16th Century "
Our Christ of Mercy, whose iconography was common in the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance, is sculpted in the round and polychromed. He stands, saddened and resigned, wearing only his perizonium, on a wooden terrace.
A work probably Spanish from the 16th century.
Dimensions: 40.5 cm high by 11 cm wide.
Good condition – resumption of polychromy
