BIOGRAPHY
Dino Roozi, visual artist, was born in Paris in 1943. From 1960 to 1966, he attended the Beaux-Arts, the French Institute of Photography and… La Coupole.
Hedonist, epicurean, lover of the arts in all their forms, including tableware, he won the 2nd Prize at the Beaux-Arts de Nevers in 1967.
Between the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s, he created the Bras de Fer gallery, founded the Mouvement des 3 A and taught ceramics and modeling in Montpellier.
He remained a member of the Ateliers d'Art de France for almost twenty years.
In 1987, he won the 2nd Prize for Creation in Paris and, in 1993, the Jury Prize in Aix-en-Provence.
It was upon discovering the work of Nicolas de Staël, whose unclassifiable style deeply inspired him, that Dino Roozi chose painting as a means of expression, a true vector of emotions.
