Louis XVI style, Paris, circa 1880. Attributed to the Maison Beurdeley (probably Louis-Auguste-Alfred Beurdeley, 1808-1882), after models by François Rémond (circa 1745-1812). Finely worked bronze, gilded and lapis lazuli plaques. These elegant light fixtures consist of an eight-legged base decorated with lapis lazuli reserves. A winged woman carries the eight lights. The light arms are decorated with scrolls and foliage and each socket is adorned with a pearl garland. Excellent condition, beautiful gilding. Dimensions: Height: 63 cm.
