Eugène Deshayes (1828-1890), was a pupil of his father, the painter and lithographer Jean Éleazar Deshayes (died in 1848). He exhibited at the Salon from 1848 to 1867. With a sensitivity close to that of Eugène Boudin or Jean Babtiste Camille Corot, he painted mainly Norman landscapes. Public collections: Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, United States. In France in Angers, Chartres, Mâcon and in Paris at the Louvre Museum and the Musée d'Orsay.
