Magnificent cartel in brown tortoiseshell from the Louis XV period with a crowned C 1745 / 1750 signed on the dial "Brulfer à Paris" Louis-Pierre quai de la Mégisserie 1752 theme: music and science. In the central door Euterpe (from the Greek eutérpê which rejoices, which charms), she is the muse of music, song, and love poetry. Her attribute is the flute. Crowned with flowers she presides over festivals and entertainment, with Dionysus she invented the dithyramb which is the source of the theater.
