"19th Century Portrait"
Oil on canvas dated 1843 on the reverse depicting a man of quality who greatly appreciated the calf's head, Lyon school, the canvas was enlarged with black painted wooden strips to insert it into the frame without altering the original chassis. Dimensions of the original chassis 66 x 54 cm. The painting would deserve a little cleaning. Overall in good condition
