Important and large gilt bronze clock depicting "The Arts & The Sciences".Very beautiful execution, the bronzes finely chiseled and gilded with mercury.
The white enamel dial signed Vigier in Paris.
In good untouched condition , the mechanism needs to be cleaned by a watchmaker (in working order).
Empire period ; a French work circa 1805.
Height of the clock = 52 centimetres !
