"Table Cutlery Made In Belgium Between 1865 And 1870."
Belgian steel, silver, horn and mother-of-pearl cutlery of the Napoleon III period.

The knife, with straight blade marked " L. PIERARD AINE' GEMBLOUX ", has a silver handle covered with mother-of-pearl inlaid horn plates.

Ring and ferrule in silver.

The four-tined steel fork has an identical handle, the ferrule with the initials "g.g.".

Note: The most important cutlery center in Belgium.

Dimensions: length fork of 20.7 cm and length knife of 25.5 cm.
