Tibia fusus, also known as Tibia fusa, is a species of sea snail in the family Rostellariidae. These shells can grow to between 15 and 31 cm (5.9–12.2 inches) in length, with an average size of around 23 cm (9 inches). Their distinctive shape features a thin, slightly curved siphonal canal, making them unique among gastropods. Coloration ranges from straw yellow to reddish beige, sometimes with delicate purple hues near the tips. The outer lip of the shell is adorned with six finger-like projections, adding to its intricate beauty. In some cultures, Tibia fusus shells were historically used as natural trumpets or ritual objects due to their elongated shape, which produced a deep, resonant sound when blown. They are also prized in shell collections for their rare combination of elegance and size.
