Rare officer's infantry honor lighter saber, model delivered to the Minister of War: Gilt bronze guard, with one branch decorated with nets, quillon ending in a gadrooned button, plain cap, wooden fuse covered with sheepskin, filigree with copper; wide blade of the model of those of the national reward sabers in engraved steel, remains of gilding at the heel, ending in a carp's tongue, signed on the back: “Klingenthal”; leather scabbard with two gilt bronze fittings, marked "manufacture de Versailles entreprise Boutet" without attribution, chape with button in the shape of a shield; rivet ending in a dart also in gilt bronze; length 86 cm.
