Richly carved gilded chimneypiece, supporting frame and projecting double-framed side posts with mirrors surmounted by carved architectural cornices. In the center there is an imposing pierced cymatium carved in a single piece with floral foliage. The entire surface is gouache gilded. Original mercury mirrors.
