Original edition of the Constitution of 5 Fructidor Year III (August 22, 1795), preceded by the Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man and the Citizen. Voted by the Convention more than a year after the fall of Robespierre, this constitution was applied until 18 Brumaire. It is the first republican Constitution applied in France. The copy is complete with a numbering of 360 leaves.
