- This verdure is distinguished by its fine weaving (8 threads/cm) which allowed the weavers to transcribe the details of the design with great care. For example, we notice that the weavers have applied themselves to reproducing the design with a concern for depth due to the great subtlety of the background where the foliage gradually fades to give perspective. Furthermore, the volumes have been finely transcribed by light shades juxtaposed with darker ones as well as by bursts of light introduced by touch, thanks to the use of golden yellow silk, at the ends of the leaves or on the twisted trunks. These touches of light also help guide the reading direction; the sun's rays enter the greenery from the left.
- The very preserved colors offer pleasant shades of blue and green. The strong greens and blues contrast with the numerous uses of silk in the weaving, thus creating an exceptionally luminous whole.
- This tapestry to be compared to the production of the Flemish workshops of the 18th century. This is evidenced by the beautiful fineness of weaving (8 threads/cm) which offers a supple textile and an impeccable reverse, the materials used (wool and silk) and the colors whose freshness suggests the use of grand teint.
- The original border (not reported) testifies to its use as a window. The border is made up of garlands of flowers echoing the vegetation of the central scene.
