Pair of Regence-style sconces decorated with palmettes. They have two light arms and are finished with clusters. Gilt bronze work from the late 19th century. Beautiful original mercury gilding. Each sconce is signed "H. VIAN" for Henri Vian. Famous bronze artist of the late 19th century. He participated in the universal exhibitions of 1878, 1889 (gold medalist) and 1900. Good condition, original bobeches.
