"Louis XV Period Bonheur Du Jour Stamped G.cordié"
Parisian work in rosewood marquetry veneer and boxwood fillets. The Jurande hallmark is clearly present next to the stamp intaglio under one of the crosspieces. Guillaume Cordié was undoubtedly the master of bonheurs-du-jour in the 18th century. This delightful centerpiece, inlaid with rosewood on all sides, rests on four arched legs ending in gilded bronze sabots. The upper part, whose top is entirely inlaid, reveals sliding rosewood curtains. This refined combination piece of furniture, forming a desk, has a drop-leaf front, opening onto two drawers at the top and two small drawers at the waist. Inside the desk, three sliding trays allow for the creation of small storage spaces. Very well preserved condition, equipped with its original lock and key. Restorations due to use and maintenance. An invoice and a certificate issued by an approved expert will be given to you upon delivery. Dimensions: Width: 82 cm Height: 107 cm Depth: 53 cm
