"Stone Baptismal Funds "
Part of a Romanesque style limestone baptismal font, probably from the Viollet-le-Duc period. Dimension diameter 80 and height 76. Cylindrical in shape with decoration of arches and figures, a set of 4 figures out of the eight that it must have originally contained. It is very likely that this baptismal font must have had a lead sheet to cover the interior. Interesting element of sacred architecture in decoration or restoration for an old chapel. Note that the stone has been glued back in the central part, but without lack of material and work carried out by a professional so no problem of solidity.
