A fine example of an anonymous arquebusier who made identical firearms for the house "Le Page in Paris" during the Empire period. An officer's flint travel pistol. Octagonal steel barrel with slightly blunderbussed hair rifling. Walnut stock and butt, carved with Hungarian point friezes. Lightly engraved iron fittings with floral decoration. The original wood and iron ramrod. As is (some oxidation).
