A pair of large porcelain plates decorated in Famille Verte and Imari enamels, with Fenghuang and butterflies around the edges. The central decoration depicts a flowering vase. There are also enamels from the Imari palette.
The reverse is decorated with fish and shellfish in cartouches on a lattice background.

One has a thin star-shaped crack in the centre and a small chip at the heel, the other has a chip or small chip at the edge.
