"There Are Only Four Left..."
Thanks to the web, I did a lot of research there but this one will go down in history... (no pun intended). I discovered that the invention of toilet paper in rolls was due to Seth Wheeler who filed his patent in 1891. Before 1932, there could be splinters in the texture of the paper.... We had a lucky escape... Four rolls have reached us, the registered trademark Mikado is astonishing, we see on the presentation sheet a servant who hands a roll, placed on a tray to a young woman. The usual paper, as for it, is a single sheet of crepe paper... even with the finger it is not very soft.
