Pair of pigeons - Bronze by Kijiro Tsukada - 1958 - Dark brown matte patina, some oxidation and small alterations of the patina on the terrace. Artist from Tokyo, some of whose works are preserved in the Itabashi Museum. He specialized in Buddhist sculpture. Active from the 50s to the 90s. He belonged to the Kokuten, an association of artists (an association advocating total freedom of expression, in a Western style). The motto of Kokugakai is, by its founding spirit, "free creation".
