19th Century Antique Silver Plate Jewelry Box A.b. Paris

A highly detailed, high-relief silver-plated jewelry box, marked AB Paris, on four carved feet.
The rim is decorated with putti.

Many scenes are depicted: From the hunt, where the stag is surrounded and the hunt is presented in its entirety, to a peaceful scene where a couple are returning home with their cattle, dog, and horse. There is also a lively festive scene in a tavern, with dancing and drinking, children playing in the fields, and finally, a spectacular oriental Islamic fairy tale scene, where men and women dance surrounded by hookah smokers and observers.

In good condition, but the interior has been refinished and the inner closure of the lid has been changed. The price is accordingly.
