BEAUSSIER Emile Born on December 31, 1874 in Avignon (Vaucluse). Died in Lyon in 1943. Painter of animated compositions, landscapes and seascapes, designer of posters and portraits. After being a student of JB Poncet, he went to Paris, to work under the direction of Jean Paul Laurens. He exhibited in Lyon, from 1892 and in Paris, from 1925, in particular at the Salon des Artistes Français where he obtained an honorable mention in 1892 and of which he was a member. He was a teacher in a municipal drawing school in Lyon. Oil on panel signed lower right on the back located The church of Jonquières, Martigues, Bouches du Rhône before 1940 and countersigned.
