Pretty post-impressionist composition representing the small port of St Tropez in 1926.
In the center of the painting and across the entire width, the facades of the houses reflect the light in a monochrome, around pink and yellow, while our gaze is drawn, in the foreground, by the shimmering colors of the boats with  the more vivid ones, of the rays of the sun on the hull.

This work is by the hand of Madeleine Ehrmann-Lebel.
The only information on this painter comes from the Bénézit.
French, her work belongs to the 20th century.
Painter of landscapes and flowers, she would exhibit at the Salon de la Société Nationale since 1934.

Oil on canvas in perfect condition, signed and dated "Mad. Lebel 26" lower right.
