Jean-Léon Gérôme, born in Vesoul on May 11, 1824 and died in Paris on January 10, 1904, was a French painter, sculptor and engraver. A member of the Academy of Fine Arts, he composed orientalist, mythological, historical and religious scenes. 19th century gilt bronze sculpture Circa 1900 Height 36.5 cm.
