Massive Hamilton Pocket watch, year 1904.Hamilton Watch Co. was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and began its production of pocket watches that immediately enjoyed a good reputation, Until he attracted the attention of the first American railway company for which Hamilton produced Broadway Limited. During the First World War, Hamilton became the official supplier to the US military.
Hamilton becomes official supplier to the US military. Between 1920 and 1930, the House endeavoured to produce art deco watches, anticipating the times and fashions, with materials at the forefront, still marking the history of watchmaking.
During the Second World War, Hamilton no longer marketed its products, as production was almost exclusively dedicated to the armed forces, since it was again an official supplier of the US military.
After the war years, some models of watches were manufactured in institutional variants for the main American airlines of which Hamilton became official supplier: TWA, United Airlines, Eastern, Northwest Airlines. In 1971, Hamilton was acquired by SSIH (Swiss Watch Industry Association), and since 1983 it has been part of the Swatch Group based in Bienne, Switzerland.

High quality nickel full plate movement with "damaskeening" treatment, grade 924, 17 jewels anchor escapement.
Adjustment of hands by the lever placed on the dial (Lever Set).
