Beautiful walnut veneered jewelry box with chiseled and gilded bronze and brass ornaments. It opens with its key to reveal a top tray with solid silver accessories: thimble, scissors, needle case, awl, mother-of-pearl embroidery needle, Le Creusot cut crystal perfume bottle with silver cap. Below is a space for storing jewelry. Charles X period, circa 1820-1830. Beautiful object testifying to the refinement of high society at the beginning of the 19th century. In very good condition, complete with all its accessories intact. Small plating accidents in the pointed corners of the lid, and small losses to the leafy motifs in the corners.
