"Silver And Silver-gilt Cup, France, Circa 1900 "
Cast, chased, engraved and guilloché silver covered cup, resting on a hexagonal pedestal decorated with a wide rope belt on the terrace. This extends into a tapered shaft supporting a cup composed, in its lower part, of a half-sphere chased with aquatic plant motifs, and in its upper part, of a hexagon with sides decorated with bail heads alternating with flamed palmettes. The domed lid is topped with a button-shaped grip. Vermeil interior. France, circa 1900 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmarks (poorly legible or crossed out) Fleur-de-lis marks Dimensions: Height: 18 cm Width: 11 cm Diameter of the foot: 8.8 cm Weight: 357 g Very good condition, without dents or scratches.
