Superb gilt bronze clock. Cylindrical terminal pediment with inverted cavettos, ears of wheat, poppies, butterflies and laurel. Enameled dial with Roman numerals, bezel with a frieze of hearts. Signed Fofsard Ainé in Paris. Pilaster uprights, decorated with flowers, volutes, darts and bases. Theater with sheaves of wheat, festoons, antique vases, flowers, fruits, crown and laurel garland. Bas-relief depicting the coronation of Ceres. Base with palmettes, volutes, angel in medallion, sickles, ribbons and flowers. Loaf feet. Circa 1810. Height 45 cm, width 28 cm, depth 9 cm.
