Small Dauphiné Chest of Drawers in Walnut XVIII Eme Century.
Charming small chest of drawers in solid walnut from the Louis XV period, dating from the middle of the 18th century.
Probably work from the Dauphiné, we can see it by the quality of the walnut used and the assembly at the back of the piece of furniture, as well as the flat sides also called "limandes", look carefully at the photos, thank you.

beautiful original patina, the bronze buttons and lock entries are also original.
It has been completely revised in the workshop but to say really there is almost no restoration! It is fleur de coin, and has only undergone a preventive treatment with xylophene and it has been re-waxed several times to obtain a beautiful glaze. It opens with two large drawers on the front, moreover the front is slightly arched, it rests on 4 curved legs and the top is nicely arched and molded.
the legs have not been grafted!
the locks are old but there are no more keys.
the drawers are mounted with dovetails and the drawer interiors are in fir.
