"19th Century Silver Vermeil Earrings"
Superb earrings, inspired by Orientalism and Renaissance, in silver gilt. They are adorned with pearls, amethysts and stones on paillon and date from the end of the 19th century.

French work by Auguste Perrette, a Parisian jeweler established on Avenue de l'Opéra, active from 1856 to 1910 (master mark AP perruche).

Have you noticed?
The half-moon motif, delicately highlighted with black enamel and a border of pearls, testifies to the 19th century fascination with elsewhere. Orientalism, omnipresent in the decorative arts after the Universal Exhibition of 1867, permeates this jewel.
