Crafted in the Louis XV style, this French basket bed exudes classic elegance with its refined carvings and painted finish. The bed frame, in a majestic rectangular shape, measures 190 cm long and 140 cm wide and can accommodate a double mattress. The headboard is 120 cm high and the footboard reaches 70 cm high, providing a harmonious balance between support and style. Expertly crafted in France, this original mid-century piece is a testament to quality craftsmanship, with its white hue brightening any bedroom. Its wooden frame ensures durability, and while the mattress is not included, the bed is designed to accommodate a double mattress. Please note that a slatted base or divan will be required to fit it inside the frame. The fabric has been recently reupholstered in black and white toile de Jouy, while the woodwork is finished in an aged white lacquer.

Delivery Our main warehouse is located in Montpellier, in the south of France. The majority of our stock is shipped from here. For smaller items under 20 kg and with a circumference of 180 cm (w + h x 2), the package measures approximately 50 x 30 x 40 cm. Delivery within 7 to 14 days depending on your location. Customs charges may be applied to your package, payable upon delivery. Please contact our dedicated team for more information before your purchase. Bulky items to the UK and EU These items are shipped via our own partner carriers operating between the UK, France and Spain. We aim for a delivery time of 2-4 weeks. We can ship to other EU countries, but delivery times may vary. Contact us for a shipping quote. Large Items - Overseas DeliveryWe will need your full address to obtain the actual cost of shipping from our partners. Once all costs are agreed, we will arrange for packing and crating if necessary. The shipment will then be delivered to our freight forwarding partners in the UK and booked for the next journey. Delivery time can vary from 2 to 4 weeks depending on the destination. If you do not have a customs broker to handle customs taxes (you may be liable for taxes on your purchase) and paperwork, our freight forwarding partners can assist.
