Pair of Louis XVI period carved and painted beech armchairs, France, Provence, 18th century, Circa 1770, the top of the back decorated with a rose and daisy, as well as the belt at the bottom of the seat. On four tapered and fluted legs, topped with raised connecting dice. Old tapestry upholstery with petit point of bouquets of flowers caught in bows and ribbons, in good condition. Pretty pair of seats in their original condition, some ankles changed, 18th century straps, original paint with wear of time, tapestries in good condition of solidity and freshness of colors (only one small hole visible on a sleeve) Great solidity of the woodwork. Armchairs typical of Provencal productions of the 18th century.
