Framed walrus ivory Christ, known as a bed frame. Beautiful production from Dieppe, the Christ is very finely carved. Frame gilded with gold leaf. Everything is in excellent condition, including Christ's fingers, which remain intact. France, second half of the 19th century. Frame height 35 cm, width 24 cm. Dimensions of the Christ: 12.5 cm X 12.5 cm. This ivory being over a hundred years old, it is an antique that is not covered by the regulations. Our Christ complies with the requirements of the Washington Convention of 1947 concerning the trade in ivory. Sale only in France.
