Pair of gilt bronze and painted metal and Chinese porcelain sconces, representing a rocky mound, decorated with painted metal flowering branches forming two arms of light, on which rests a Ho Ho figure in Chinese porcelain. The Ho Ho, a popular motif under the Chinese emperor Kangxi. They are often represented in the form of figurines or on porcelain. These twins symbolize understanding.
