Pair of gilt bronze and painted metal and Chinese porcelain sconces, representing a rocky mound, decorated with painted metal flowering branches forming two arms of light, on which rests a Ho Ho figure in Chinese porcelain. The Ho Ho, a popular motif under the Chinese emperor Kangxi. They are often represented in the form of figurines or on porcelain. These twins symbolize understanding. In China, they are considered lucky charms. Louis XV period.
