Circa 1960 England A pair of loose curtains in Liberty of London "African Marigold" printed cotton adapted from William Morris's Arts & Crafts period, the original of which dates from 1876. Beautiful cretonne-type printed cotton canvas with lush plant decoration and large flowers in shades of green, sepia, orange and white on a bottle green background. The two side selvedges bear the above-mentioned mentions in English. Liberty of London reprinted this famous design in 1968. Never used, in new condition. Very good condition of color and preservation. Dimensions: two panels, 265 cm high by 124 cm wide each. We also have other smaller panels to complete a set.
