Bronze Pickle Candles, France, Circa 1700

PIQUE-CIERGE in bronze formerly silvered with a large, eventful foot, shaft with two opposing balusters accompanied by rings and molded bobèche.
Height at the bobèche: 27.6 cm.

Good condition, three small holes from an old electrification are however reported as well as some stains on the foot to be scoured if necessary.
Traces of an old silver plating under the base.
