Romantic period fan with ivory mount. On the paper sheet we see a large scene of a magician .... presenting his tricks to a high society audience. Finely gouache and hand-watercolored engraving. French work circa 1820. 20 x 39 cm The whole is in good condition despite some weaknesses in the folds of each strand.
