This pair of chiseled gilt bronze candlesticks embodies the elegance and rarity of the Directoire period. The shafts, shaped as tapered columns with cut corners, rest on circular bases with water leaf frieze decorations.

French craftsmanship from the Directoire era, circa 1795-1799, these candlesticks are in very good condition. We would like to report the replacement of the central threaded rod for an old electrification.
