Circa 1950-1960South TunisiaVery large unsewn Berber Burnous in undyed sheep wool, eggshell beige, entirely tightly woven on a handloom on the edge of the desert. Piece woven to shape, very soft and collected in Matmatah. Note a few tiny holes (less than 0.5 cm each) (see the last two photos), otherwise clean and without major defects. To be reused as a sofa throw, a blanket for the bed or for any other decorative use. Good structural condition:Dimension: 352 cm width, 177 cm height at the highest point.
