David COX is considered one of the greatest English landscape painters, and a major figure in the golden age of English watercolor.
Although better known for his watercolors, he also produced more than 300 oil paintings towards the end of his career and is now considered "one of the greatest, but least recognized, of all British painters."
His works are present in the greatest museums: British Museum, Tate Gallery, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester...
