These earrings are called sleepers. Mounted in gold and silver, they are each adorned with two white sapphires, superimposed, of different dimensions and cut with facets. They sparkle with a thousand lights and are endowed with the charm of 19th century jewelry. They are kept in a case which is old. They bear the gold control hallmark which is an eagle's head from 1838, then a hallmark that we have not identified as well as a Master hallmark. The diameter of the large stone is 4 mm and the smallest 2 mm. Period late 19th century
